Privacy Policy

Welcome to wrigl (“we”, “our”, or “us”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our iPhone application.

Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the application.

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

• Account Information: email address, display name, and profile photo when you register or sign in via Apple or Google.
• Voice Recordings: audio captured while you use the record feature. Audio is processed on-device for transcription and is not stored on our servers.
• Note Content: transcribed text and any associated metadata (timestamp, action type) stored to your account so you can access your notes across sessions.
• Calendar & Reminder Data: when you grant permission, we create events and reminders in your device's calendar using EventKit. This data lives entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us.
• Usage Data: anonymised analytics such as feature interactions and crash reports, used solely to improve the app.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the wrigl application.
• Authenticate your account and secure your session.
• Generate your daily AI insight from your note content.
• Respond to support requests and improve the user experience.
• Send you important service notifications (not marketing emails).

Your note content and account data are stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 Type II compliant cloud provider. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS.

Voice recordings are processed entirely on your device. Raw audio is never uploaded to our servers.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

wrigl integrates with the following third-party services:

• Supabase — backend database and authentication. See their Privacy Policy.
• Apple Sign In / Google Sign In — optional authentication providers. We only receive your name and email address from these services.
• Apple EventKit — on-device calendar and reminders. No data is sent to Apple by wrigl through this integration.

We retain your account data and notes for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile Settings screen. Upon deletion, all your notes and personal data are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

wrigl is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.
• Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a structured format.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
