Terms & Conditions

By downloading, installing, or using wrigl (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App. wrigl reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use wrigl. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the App.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, are being misused.

wrigl grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code.
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our infrastructure.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App.
• Upload or transmit any malware or malicious code.

You retain ownership of all content you create within wrigl, including your notes and voice recordings. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the service (e.g. generating your daily AI insight).

You are solely responsible for the content you capture. You must not record conversations without the consent of all parties where required by applicable law.

wrigl uses AI to generate transcriptions and daily insights. These are provided “as is” and may not always be accurate. AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice of any kind (medical, legal, financial, etc.).

You should independently verify any AI-generated content before acting on it.

When you grant permission, wrigl creates events and reminders directly on your device via Apple's EventKit framework. You are responsible for reviewing and managing any events or reminders created. wrigl is not liable for missed appointments or erroneous calendar entries.

All intellectual property rights in the App — including the wrigl name, logo, design, and software — are owned by or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited licence described in Section 4.

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of transcriptions or AI-generated insights.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, wrigl and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which wrigl is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
